Villa Air Bali Shines Bright with Tri Hita Karana Awards 2023
For centuries, the Tri Hita Karana philosophy has been deeply rooted in the Balinese way of life, seamlessly integrated into the fabric of their community. At its core, this philosophy embodies the idea that true happiness stems from the harmonious balance of three fundamental relationships: a harmonious connection with the divine, amicable relations among fellow humans, and a respectful interaction with the environment.
The Tri Hita Karana concept comprises three essential components:
- Parhyangan (Harmony with the Divine): Parhyangan underscores the significance of the human connection with the divine. It emphasizes the importance of revering and expressing gratitude to the Creator of the Universe and everything within it.
- Palemahan (Harmony with Nature): Palemahan represents the relationship between humans and their environment. This encompasses the plant life, animals, and all other elements of the natural world.
- Pawongan (Harmony with Humanity): Pawongan revolves around the relationships humans share with one another. It encourages individuals to establish harmonious connections within families, friendships, and workplaces.
Tri Hita Karana Awards
The Tri Hita Karana Awards, in existence since 2000, play a vital role in recognizing hotels and organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to preserving the unique cultural and environmental heritage of Bali.
Embarking on this journey in 2019, Villa Air Bali received its inaugural Gold Medal, a testament to our dedication to upholding Bali's rich cultural and environmental legacy. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the THK Awards were temporarily suspended from 2020 to 2022.
This year marks the triumphant return of the THK Awards, and we are thrilled to announce that Villa Air Bali has been honored with the prestigious Emerald Medal. This achievement not only fills us with pride but also reaffirms our unwavering commitment to participating in the Tri Hita Karana Awards. We view this as a meaningful way to contribute to the preservation of Bali's environment and culture.
